This is a reminder that the comment period for the Santa Fe Mountains Project draft environmental assessment ends one week from today on Friday, October 29th. Now is the time to help protect our unique and beautiful forest!

The Forest Advocate has posted guide points for commenting which you may find helpful. There is a short guide for quick comments and a more comprehensive guide for longer comments.

After completing your comment, you can fill out the Forest Service's comment form via the button below and paste your comment in.

Note that you can add attachments to your comment if you like.

The Forest Service is also accepting comments by email and mail, but note they encourage comments via their comment form and have previously withheld emailed and mailed comments from their Reading Room for the project. The email and mailing addresses for comments are:
